Brooklyn Butcher Blocks was founded by Nils Wessell in February of 2010. By June of that same year, the brand was officially launched, bringing forth a range of meticulously crafted butcher blocks and cutting boards. Over the years, the brand has expanded its offerings, introducing new products, which stand as a testament to the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Nils Wessell

Over a decade ago, I founded Brooklyn Butcher Blocks. At the time, I used whatever shop space I could find to put together my boards. I would head to farmer’s markets and haul my blocks in suitcases up and down the subway stairs. Slowly but surely, one purchase led to another, and I’ve been able to build a livelihood out of this craft. It’s all because of your support.
